ABOUT

After studies in London and Geneva, I began my career in digital with MessageMedia, a start-up providing B2B email marketing services to its clients.

I joined UEFA.com’s content team in Nyon a year later, and took responsibility for the organisation’s emailing initiatives. I sharpened my writing skills, worked my way into a features editor role and also took on a few technical projects. These included helping to set up live streams of official press conferences and draws, and coordinating the development of new pages for the website. Highlights included attending three UEFA European Championships, Champions League matches and a UEFA Congress meeting in Paris.

In 2014, I began a new and exciting challenge at the FIVB, the International Volleyball Federation, and created content for FIVB.com and the organisation’s social media accounts. This included covering key events on the international calendar, like the World Championships in 2014 and 2018, the Beach Volleyball World Tour and the early stages of the Snow Volleyball World Tour. I managed a team of freelance writers and was the launch editor of the new website for the first edition of the Volleyball Nations League in 2018.

I then moved to Volleyball World, a partnership between the FIVB and CVC Capital Partners set up to accompany the rapid growth of the sport. Inspiring projects included contributing to the implementation of the new company’s website. I also helped to organise news coverage of the volleyball and beach volleyball tournaments at the long-awaited Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and collaborated on communications around the inaugural season of the Beach Pro Tour.

More recently, I have combined freelance roles with a great opportunity at Plan International’s UN Liaison Office in Geneva, working on communications for a team of child’s rights advocates and bringing together my long-standing interest in the field of human rights with my expertise in communications.

When I am not at my desk, I like to go hiking, read a book or relax with friends and family. An enthusiastic walker, I know that some of my best ideas come to me while outdoors, which is why you will often find me making my way up the side of a mountain.
